As a Staff DevOps Engineer at Accredible, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining infrastructure that serves millions of users every month. You'll be creating new infrastructure projects from scratch, improving the existing infrastructure as code for the services which power , and other web properties, alongside new products and deployments to continue working toward our mission.
You'll be working with a number of different technologies, including but not limited to:
- Terraform and Terragrunt
- AWS
- Grafana
- Github action
Our approach is Agile, test heavy and we push releases many times per week.
You'll have a cross functional team to work with, including: our VP Engineering as your direct manager, another Senior Engineer responsible for DevOps, backend engineers, frontend engineers, quality engineers, UI/UX designers and a product manager.

We're looking for someone who's deeply hands-on, passionate about delivery, and excited to collaborate across teams.
This is a remote role, and we're happy for you to work from any location within: UK, India, Egypt, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Pakistan, but we would like for you to attend meetings that align roughly with UK time (GMT). So long as you attend meetings with your team, you can make your own choices on when and how to work.
Key responsibilities- Lead hands-on implementation and architecture of mission-critical infrastructure systems.
- You will be responsible for our IaC stack - writing it, reviewing it and ensuring it is up to the standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ship robust infrastructure solutions quickly and reliably.
- Take ownership of delivery for key infrastructure projects and unblock teams as needed.
- Build and scale CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting solutions that enable engineering speed and system confidence.
- Define infrastructure patterns and tools and contribute code to make adoption easy across teams.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and lead resolution and root-cause analysis.
- Ensure high standards of security, scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency in all work.
- Work with senior leadership to respond to and resolve security issues which arise from customers.

- Operates as a hands-on technical leader with deep familiarity with infrastructure tooling and architecture.
- Designs and delivers scalable infrastructure using modern IaC practices (Terraform preferred).
- Leads and implements resilient AWS architecture for multi-team environments.
- Defines and builds advanced CI/CD systems with rapid feedback and safe deploys.
- Writes automation and monitoring code with a focus on speed of delivery and maintainability.
- Drives the adoption of observability tools and practices for real-time issue detection and resolution.
- Understands and improves distributed systems, storage, and networking in production.
- Maintains a strong delivery mindset-shipping value incrementally and iterating quickly.
- Champions documentation, collaboration, and technical enablement across teams.
