We are seeking an experienced SSLAN Design Engineer/Technical Design Authority to support a major network transformation initiative. You will be responsible for reviewing, challenging, and producing network designs, with a strong emphasis on HP Aruba, Fortinet, and some Cisco technologies. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands-on technical expertise and high-level design authority, with the ability to produce detailed, high-quality documentation.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Active SC Clearance (mandatory).
• Proven experience in network design and technical authority roles.
• Strong knowledge of HP Aruba and Fortinet technologies.
• Familiarity with Cisco Routers and Switches.
• Experience with LAN/WAN environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to produce high-quality documentation.
• Resilient and adaptable under pressure.

Desirable Skills:

• Previous work in aviation or aerospace sectors.
• Experience with SSLAN design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and document robust, scalable network designs for an existing environment.
• Review and validate designs from other engineers, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather technical requirements and translate them into actionable designs.
• Ensure network designs meet performance, security, and resilience standards.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation to support implementation and governance.
