SRE Engineer

We are seeking seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and services. You will work closely with development and operations teams to build robust infrastructure and automate processes for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reliable and scalable systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
• Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate reliability best practices into the software lifecycle.
• Implement and maintain observability solutions for proactive monitoring and alerting.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Mandatory Skills

• Hands-on experience in creating dashboards, alarms, and metrics for AWS resources.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible).
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.

Desirable Skills

• Splunk for log management, dashboard creation, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Database experience (MS SQL, PostgreSQL) and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3-7 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related roles.
