RED Global is looking for a skilled Kafka SRE Support Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise infrastructure team. This role focuses on ensuring the performance, stability, and observability of Kafka-based messaging platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Apache Kafka and Confluent Kafka clusters
• Apply upgrades, patches, and improvements to Kafka environments
• Troubleshoot performance issues and coordinate with engineering teams
• Monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk
• Support automation efforts and contribute to infrastructure improvements

Required Skills:

• Solid hands-on experience with Kafka and Confluent Kafka in production
• Understanding of Kafka architecture, cluster health, and topic management
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Familiarity with observability tools and DevOps principles is beneficial
