AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including the public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies, emphasizing world-class support as critical to customer success. AWS Support partners with customers building mission-critical applications on AWS services.
AWS Enterprise Support, Sr Technical Account Managers (Sr TAM) support customers' innovation across technologies such as Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data, Application Services, Networking, Serverless, Deployment, Security, and more. This role is not sales-focused but involves acting as a principal technical advisor and 'voice of the customer' to organizations from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Key Responsibilities- Work with Public Sector customers to craft and execute strategies for adopting AWS services like EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, IoT, etc.
- Represent AWS within customer environments, engaging with senior leadership on incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management.
- Provide strategic technical guidance, help plan solutions using best practices, and proactively maintain operational health of AWS environments.
- Develop close relationships to understand business and technical challenges, maximizing customer value from AWS.
- Travel 10% or more as needed.

Additional Requirements- Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting in areas such as Compute, Networking, Architecture, DevOps, Analytics, Security, or Applications Development in distributed systems.

Qualifications- Experience in design, implementation, operations, or consulting with distributed applications.
- Experience in technical engineering.
- Fluent in Flemish OR Dutch.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud services.
- Experience as a technical lead in enterprise or customer-facing environments.
