Job Description
Sr. Manager, Intl Tax Compliance

DePuy Synthes (DePuy & Synthes) is recruiting for a Senior Manager Tax Compliance to support direct and indirect tax compliance for the EMEA region. The role is a hybrid position based in Zug, Switzerland with alternate locations in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, and Belgium.

Responsibilities
  • Governance of external partners assisting with recurring compliance processes for direct and indirect tax compliance for all legal entities in EMEA, including contracting, scope and fee negotiation, and KPI monitoring.
  • Ensure timely filing of direct and indirect tax filings and review of tax computations with external partners.
  • Partner with GS finance, Business Finance and other organizations to enable an efficient and integrated tax compliance process.
  • Work closely with the Tax Counsel and the Tax Planning Group on local tax aspects of transactions and planning structures, DAC6 reporting, Foreign Subsidies Regulation reporting, etc.
  • Work closely with the Global Transfer Pricing and Disputes Group on transfer pricing documentation, tax audits & litigations and advance pricing agreements.
  • Work closely with the Global Reporting on Pillar 2 & country-by-country reporting in local jurisdictions.
  • Advise the tax leadership team on regional tax compliance issues.
  • Provide tax advice and support to stakeholders and business partners on direct and indirect tax matters.
  • Manage the tax budget for regional tax compliance.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including corporate and indirect tax experience.
  • Broad-based technical tax knowledge with expertise preferred in US GAAP tax accounting, tax compliance and tax technology.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Tax; further education a plus.
  • Self directed, detail oriented individual with strong tax and financial process background.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English; strong partnering abilities.

Benefits and Compensation

Anticipated base pay range: €85,000 - €146,050. In addition to base pay, the position offers an annual bonus target, vacation days, parental leave (minimum 12weeks), bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, well being reimbursement, financial, physical and mental health programs, service anniversary and recognition awards, and participation in several insurance plans (where applicable).
