Sr. Industry SA - RCH, Industry Solution Architect, IVT, GCR

Retail CPG Hospitality (RCH) Solutions Architects are experts in their domain, supporting customer engagements that require deep industry knowledge of RCH business applications and infrastructure, and how cloud services can transform data centers and enable innovative industry solutions.

The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationship-building, thinks strategically and analytically about business challenges, has program management experience, and possesses a deep analytic background to assist AGS in meeting business objectives. The role is a self-starter with a bias toward independent problem solving, a passion for removing bottlenecks, and the foresight to anticipate business needs, make trade-offs, and balance business dynamics under constraints.

• Work with customers and partners to transform their organization and IT landscape; engage with customers to understand business drivers and develop code-based solution guidance, drive PoC (Proof-of-Concept), run hands-on workshops, and drive adoption of the AWS platform in industry-priority use cases.
• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the RCH business application and operating model, customer needs, motivators for cloud adoption, and enterprise challenges to unlock opportunities.
• Stay informed on market and technical trends and competitive landscape to formulate effective industry solution strategies.
• Engage with C-level executives to define and execute on technical architecture; lead lighthouse accounts through cloud transformation and innovation projects.
• Solicit feedback from enterprise customers and influence future iterations of the AWS platform; define and execute strategy by engaging technical teams (Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, Partner Team).
• Build code-based solutions, drive PoC, and run hands-on workshops with partners and customers directly.
• Lead innovations and transformational change with RCH industry customers as they migrate to or expand in the cloud.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 12+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 6+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
• Knowledge of SAP systems (e.g., SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
