We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director of Data Analyticsto lead our healthcare Payment Integrity analytics function. This role will be instrumental in transforming clinical, operational, and financial data into actionable insights that improve cost of care and support strategic decision-making across the organization. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with clinical and operational goals
    • Drive the use of data to support affordability initiatives
    • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and executive leaders to identify high-impact analytics opportunities
  • Team & Capability Building
    • Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of healthcare data scientists, analysts, and engineers
    • Promote a culture of data literacy, ethical data use, and continuous improvement
    • Establish best practices in healthcare analytics, including quality, accuracy, interpretability, and regulatory compliance
  • Analytics Delivery
    • Oversee the development of predictive models, dashboards, and decision-support tools for clinical, operational, and financial use cases
    • Ensure analytics solutions are compliant, clinically relevant, and aligned with data safety standards
    • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for operations teams, administrators, and executives
  • Technology & Infrastructure
    • Partner with the Chief Data Office and data engineering to ensure secure, scalable, and interoperable data infrastructure
    • Leverage claims systems and external health data sources
    • Evaluate and implement advanced analytics platforms and tools, including AI/ML in clinical settings
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to clinical and business leaders, enabling data-informed decisions
    • Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Represent the analytics function in cross-functional initiatives and governance forums

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (or higher) in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Public Health, or a related field
  • Significant experience in data analytics, with experience in a healthcare leadership role
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, healthcare analytics platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau), and cloud environments (e.g., Azure Health Data Services, AWS HealthLake)
  • Understanding of healthcare data (EHR, claims, HIEs), clinical workflows, and regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, HITECH, GDPR)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive enterprise-wide analytics initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Payment Integrity, value-based care, risk stratification, and population health analytics
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards
  • Knowledge of AI/ML applications in clinical decision support

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to convey complex data insights to clinical and executive audiences
