Job Description

About the Role (Job Summary): As a System Administrator (P2), you will play a key role in supporting the stability, security, and performance of McKesson Technology's endpoint and infrastructure environment. Working within the End User Computing and Infrastructure teams, you will manage and support enterprise devices across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms while contributing to a seamless technology experience for employees. You will leverage modern endpoint management tools, monitoring solutions, and automation technologies to resolve issues, maintain compliance, and improve operational efficiency. This role partners closely with senior engineers, security teams, service desk teams, and vendors to support a reliable and secure technology environment.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Monitor endpoint and infrastructure health using enterprise monitoring and analytics tools, identifying issues and taking corrective action to maintain system performance and availability.
  • Administer and support endpoint management platforms, including Microsoft Intune and Jamf, across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and device management issues while ensuring timely escalation of complex incidents.
  • Perform endpoint patching, software deployment, device configuration, and lifecycle management activities in accordance with security and compliance standards.
  • Support endpoint security initiatives by applying configuration updates, validating compliance controls, and assisting with remediation activities.
  • Leverage scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell to streamline administrative tasks, improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual effort.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, system inventories, and operational procedures while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet company goals.
Basic Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise endpoint environments across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
  • Foundational experience with Microsoft Intune, Jamf, and endpoint management technologies for device deployment, configuration, and support.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting, automation, and endpoint remediation concepts.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system, and endpoint management issues in a corporate environment.
  • Exposure to Nexthink, endpoint analytics, digital employee experience platforms, or similar monitoring and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of endpoint security, compliance controls, patch management, device lifecycle management, and enterprise support best practices.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, system configurations, and support procedures.
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and typically 2+ years of relevant experience in systems administration, endpoint management, or infrastructure support; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with AI assisted IT operations, endpoint automation, or modern workplace technologies.
  • Experience supporting technology environments within healthcare, pharmaceutical, financial services, or other regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams while managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Physical / Travel Requirements

Ability to work in an office, hybrid, or remote technology environment using standard computer equipment. Participation in occasional planned after hours maintenance activities may be required. Limited travel may be required based on business needs.

Compensation and Benefits

That's why we have a Total Rewards package that includes comprehensive benefits to support physical, mental, and financial well being. Our Base Pay Range for this position is €43,400 - €72,300. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long term incentive opportunities may be offered.
