Amazon provides enterprises the opportunity to sell their goods on the Amazon platform worldwide, with over 2 million Sellers using this Marketplace service today. Amazon is expanding its infrastructure globally, especially in cross border selling. The ESM SAS Pro Service is a growing program offering China-based Sellers professional and value-added services, including account management and consulting, to maximize their presence and business in Amazon's global marketplaces. It also aims to enhance Seller and end customer experience by increasing selection, improving input management, and reducing shopping defects.

In this context, the Amazon China Global Selling SAS Pro Service team seeks an experienced account manager to work closely with Sellers. The role involves monitoring and driving business performance, providing 1:1 consultancy to explore opportunities, and developing strategic solutions for growth. The account manager will manage Seller relationships, develop strategies to maximize global account growth, and ensure high Seller satisfaction. Additionally, understanding Seller experiences on Amazon and generating Seller insights to collaborate with the product team for service improvements are key responsibilities.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Conduct deep dive analysis on factors affecting Seller performance, diagnose root causes, and provide actionable plans for operational, product, and process improvements.
  2. Generate Seller insights and learning about Amazon features, services, policies, and multi-channel strategies to identify business opportunities.
  3. Implement account management best practices and SOPs into the business development framework.
  4. Drive Seller growth through selection expansion, conversion optimization, advertising, and feature adoption.
  5. Generate category insights and collaborate with the Product Management team to scale category growth.
  6. Work with PM/Central Ops teams to innovate based on Seller insights, enhancing Seller business and satisfaction.
  7. Enroll new Sellers into SAS Pro via multiple channels, including offline events and co-pitching with Business Development and Seller communities.
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with Sellers through engagement activities and proactive involvement.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in retail, consultancy, or related industries, with a proven track record in managing relationships and projects, influencing stakeholders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient with tools like Salesforce, Excel, and internal systems.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting for business decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, plan, and delegate effectively.
  • Proven ownership and results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in oral and written English.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong skills in data mining and business analytics, capable of presenting insights from data.
  • Experience in Cross-Border Ecommerce Business is preferred.
  • Experience in product development is a plus.
