These schools have a high number of vulnerable pupils, many of whom require positive role models who can build relationships, inspire confidence and help them re-engage with learning.This isn't a PE role.Instead, you'll use your coaching, communication and relationship-building skills to support children inside the classroom, helping them develop emotionally, socially and academically.The RoleWorking alongside teachers and pastoral staff, you'll support pupils who may: Have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Display behaviours that challenge. Be disengaged from learning. Need support regulating their emotions. Lack confidence or positive role models.You'll help children feel safe, engaged and ready to learn by building positive relationships, encouraging resilience and celebrating success-both inside and outside the classroom.We'd love to hear from you if you have experience as a: Sports Coach Football, Rugby or Cricket Coach Personal Trainer Sports Graduate Activity Leader Youth Coach Martial Arts Instructor Dance or Gymnastics Coach Outdoor Education InstructorNo previous school experience is necessary.
