Sports Coach

Location: Bolton
Salary: £25,450
Start Date: ASAP or September
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:20am-4:20pm, Friday 8:20am-2:30pm

Roles & Responsibilities

• Be a role model, mentor, and daily support to the children you work with.
• Support students with SEND to overcome social and academic barriers.
• Assist the class teacher in the delivery of the curriculum.
• Make reasonable adjustments to ensure students thrive in the setting.
• Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students, using sports to remove barriers to learning.
• Deliver sports sessions and mentor students, using sports to keep them engaged.
• Support students on outdoor education trips.
• Ensure students remain engaged and safe at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience coaching children and young people.
• Passion for sports and fitness.
• Knowledge of SEND and its impact on students.
• Experience supporting male students is an asset.
• Suitable qualifications for the position advertised.
