Job Description

As part of the RAF firefighter force you will support rescue and firefighting capability across the UK and on overseas operations. You will be part of a mission critical service, responding to real incidents in high pressure environments, working with specialist equipment and RAF teams, and operating on a cycle of 4 months overseas and 16 months in the UK, providing structure, variety and purpose.

Qualifications

• UK, Republic of Ireland or Commonwealth citizen, or dual national from birth.
• Resided in the UK for at least 5 years (3 years may be considered for some cases).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to meet fitness standards, including selection and pre joining tests.
• Medical, health, eyesight and general fitness standards satisfied.
• Prepared to complete situational and behavioural assessments and background checks.
