Enable Ireland is an equal opportunities employer and a Silver Award winner in Diversity. We are seeking a highly motivated Speech and Language Therapist - Senior Grade to join our team in CHO 8 Meath CDNT 4 Dunshaughlin / East Meath.

Contract and Salary

Contract Type: Specified Purpose (Min 12 months)

Contract Hours: 28 hours per week (0.8 WTE)

Salary Scale: €62,072 to €73,477 pro rata per annum, subject to LSI increments. Pay increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments.

Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum.

Overview of the Post

The post holder will provide a range of Speech and Language Therapy services for young people (0 - 18 years) and their families within an interdisciplinary framework, including assessment and intervention, clinical supervision and service development. Service will be delivered through a family centred approach across multiple settings such as clinic, preschools, schools, children's homes and community settings.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Registered, or eligible for registration, with the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
  • Have 3 years full time (or an equivalent aggregate) of post qualification clinical experience.
  • Demonstrate high standards of suitability and professional ability for the role.
  • Provide proof of statutory registration prior to commencement of employment.
  • Maintain annual registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register.
  • Confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.
  • 3 years of recent relevant post qualification experience, including at least 1 year working with children with a range of disabilities or developmental delay and their families.
  • Experience working with children aged 0 - 18 years and their families.
  • Valid driving licence and access to transport to deliver services across a large geographical area.
  • Post graduate training and experience in Management of FEDS disorders.
  • Relevant post graduate training specific to 0 - 18 years.
  • Experience in conducting assessment of need.
  • Relevant training and experience in assessment and intervention for children with autism.
  • Experience and/or training in clinical supervision.
