At Remedy Tutors, we provide personalised education and therapeutic support to children and young people who are outside mainstream education or require additional support.

As an SLT, you'll deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions to support pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), helping them build confidence, develop key skills, and re-engage with learning.

• Assess speech, language, and communication needs using a range of tools
• Deliver 1:1 tailored therapy sessions in:
  • Homes
  • Community settings
• Support children with:
  • Speech and language delays
  • Autism (ASC)
  • Developmental Language Disorder (DLD)
  • Social communication needs
• Contribute to EHCP assessments and reviews
• Provide practical strategies to teachers, parents, and carers
• Track progress and produce clear, concise reports
• Work collaboratively with schools and multi-agency professionals

Essential:

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
• Membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN

Desirable:

• Experience in schools or community settings
• Experience supporting EHCPs
• Knowledge of SEMH and neurodevelopmental needs
• Familiarity with AAC or alternative communication strategies

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to engage and motivate children with diverse needs
• Solid assessment and report-writing ability
• Organised, proactive, and adaptable
