Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Dr in Old Age Psychiatry to work full-time hours per week for our client based in Glasgow, Lanarkshire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for a short-term contract, with an immediate start for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of adults, evaluating their mental health challenges, personal history, and symptoms.
2. Formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's needs and goals.
3. Lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
4. Oversee therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions.
5. Monitor and evaluate the progress of individuals regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
6. Contribute to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring safety and well-being.
7. Apply clinical expertise with a compassionate approach.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full GMC license to practice.
• Proven experience in relevant field.
