Job Title: Specialty Dr in Forensic Psychiatry

Grade: Specialty Dr

Location: Horley, Surrey

Working Hours: 24 hours

Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application

We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Dr in Forensic Psychiatry to work with our client's inpatient team based in Horley, Surrey. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for an immediate start, for a short-term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

The role requires a strong presence on the ward, participation in daily handover meetings, ward rounds, care program approach meetings, and unit governance meetings. Responsibilities include assessing new referrals, providing evidence at tribunals, and preparing reports. The position involves duties related to the three forensic beds on Mulberry Ward. There is also an opportunity to engage in outpatient work within the community forensic service. The medical team includes training grade doctors (CT and ST).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • You must have a full GMC license to practice.
  • Proven experience in relevant field.
