Main duties of the jobAs a Specialty Doctor at LYPFT, you will benefit from:
- A bespoke SAS CPD training programme

- Participation in internal weekly educational meetings with Consultants and trainees
- Monthly clinical supervision with a Consultant Supervisor
- Support for MRCPsych exams and Section 12 approval if required
- Membership in a peer group and the SAS committee
- Two protected SPA sessions per week
- Opportunities for emergency on-call work, if desired
- Invitation to the annual Medical Leadership Day and opportunities for leadership positions
- Participation in revalidation and appraisal processes
LYPFT is the primary provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds, with specialist inpatient services in York and nationally recognized specialized services. As a teaching trust with strong university links, we excel in teaching, research, and development.

Person Specification Qualifications- MBBS/MBChB or equivalent with GMC registration
- Recent (within 12 months) clinical experience
- At least 4 years of full-time equivalent work as a doctor, including 2 years in psychiatry
- Experience working within an MDT
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong team working skills
This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A DBS check will be required to verify any criminal convictions.
