As such, he/she is the go-to person for sales and Commercial operation when it gets to specifying products applicable the Specialty Chemical market. The SME will collaborate globally with cross-functional teams including Commercial Operations, Sales, Engineering & Product Management to help increase booking, revenue and profitability. This position has flexibility with the location. International travel requirement: 50% Responsibilities: Main role is to expand our presence and bookings in the Specialty Chemical market Works with the commercial operation teams to define application guidelines to offer the best technical and commercial solution. Works with product management and engineering to help develop or customize products that meet market requirements including requested certification Works with sales to enlist on vendor's list specific to the Specialty Chemical market. and develop capability to receive RFQs Develop insights and recommendations related to market-level-prices Develop insights and recommendations related to service requirements Understand competition and how to differentiate our solution in the Specialty Chemical application field. Develop training material to improve overall knowledge of various functions specific to the Specialty Chemical market. Requirements: Deep product, service and solution expertise in the Specialty Chemical market and portfolio acquired through education or experience Minimum 10 years' experience in commercial operations, sales operations or related roles Ability to interact globally and interface effectively across regions and functions Excellent interpersonal skills and a high sense of urgency with a Customer-focused mindset.
