Job Description
Sgipa is a reference partner, proactive and attentive to individuals who require personalized support in their employment and educational projects. Sgipa is a specialized, private, and subsidized secondary II establishment that welcomes nearly 150 students with learning difficulties and significant academic delays. The specialized teaching teams and psychologists support students in developing an individualized project tailored to their abilities and goals. The Sgipa school curriculum is structured in two distinct cycles. Cycle 1 is a cycle that welcomes students who need to evolve in their autonomy. It focuses on developing their pre-professional, academic, and social skills to allow each student to build a personalized and realistic professional project. Cycle 2 lasts from one to two years and promotes progress in academic and professional aspects. Students realize their professional project there and orient themselves towards the world of work with or without additional support. To complete our team for Cycle 1, we are looking for a: Specialized Teacher (100%) Your mission: _ define the program, organize classes, and ensure the supervision of classes in accordance with the educational policy of the school; select teaching methods and tools while adapting them to the specific needs of the students; ensure the proper functioning of the entrusted classes and groups through personalized care of the students, including during breaks and meals; organize camps, outings, visits outside the school, as well as professional internships; collaborate closely with the school's psychologists, students' families, and partner institutions of the school; participate in multidisciplinary team discussions regarding students' follow-ups and reflections on Cycle 1; develop and ensure the follow-up of the individualized project (PEI); develop skills assessments; perform accounting tasks and manage the class, keep individual student files up to date and write reports concerning them; transmit the technical skills of your area. Profile: _ University degree in specialized education (MESP), master's in science or equivalent title; CFC and/or confirmed professional experience in a technical field (mechanics, construction, electricity, cooking, etc.); experience in supervising young people with special needs, in specialized teaching and/or in specialized education; Knowledge of the Geneva network; Good writing skills and mastery of office tools.
