Job overview This is an ideal role for a pharmacist wanting to work in a dynamic leading edge specialty - Respiratory Medicine. The respiratory department is an excellent research renowned tertiary centre and this role would enable you to deepen your clinical knowledge and skills and develop leadership skills in working with a very motivated wider multidisciplinary team. In particular, you will be instrumental in managing patients and delivering transformative care to patients who have interstitial lung disease.

Main duties of the job The post-holder will:
  • Become an expert in respiratory pharmacy with a focus on ILD.
  • Work in respiratory medicine covering COPD, interstitial lung disease, pleural medicine and severe asthma.
  • Be responsible for delivering our ILD programme to provide excellent patient care, including all aspects of ILD treatment, home care and related documentation and supporting clinics.
  • Play a key role in the respiratory pharmacy team and wider multidisciplinary team with all related initiatives in teaching, service and guideline development.
  • Demonstrate Trust values and professionalism in all day to day work and communications.
