The primary responsibility of a Device Specialist is to serve as the point of contact for a team of manual testers. This role involves leading a team of 10+ members, coordinating tasks with multiple stakeholders, generating reports, providing technical support, and contributing to operational excellence by minimizing testing efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the quality of the product being tested by managing the team's manual testing deliverables.
- Participate in requirement reviews, test plan creation, and defining test strategies alongside the QA team.
- Assign tasks to team members, assist in executing test cases, and report discrepancies.
- Monitor task progress, mentor junior team members, and train the team on new features and updates.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and testing efficiency.
- Utilize appropriate software tools to monitor metrics, identify trends, and suggest corrective actions.
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders to report status, communicate concerns, and provide suggestions.
- Recommend optimal test methodologies by combining domain expertise, product knowledge, and the software testing lifecycle. Basic manual and automation testing experience in software or hardware is required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), MSc in Information Technology, or equivalent, with 6+ years of testing experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with automation tools such as Selenium, Java, Python, Android automation, and Machine Learning.
