The School is seeking an innovative, self motivated Specialist Assessor & Teacher to join our forward thinking and ambitious Learning Support team.
The post holder will be responsible for promoting the learning and welfare of pupils by providing practical learning support within the Learning Support department, whilst ensuring record keeping and practice fully comply with exam board and JCQ regulations.
The successful candidate will demonstrate fundamental skills required to deliver a curriculum adapted to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Responsibilities include conducting and administering assessments and screenings of pupils in accordance with the Code of Practice and JCQ regulations, working closely with Learning Support colleagues to identify learners requiring specialist assessment, and completing the necessary administration and paperwork to secure exam access arrangements, thereby supporting pupils to succeed on their main programmes of study.
