About the role

We're part of a small, high impact team of generalists who shape and deliver trajectory changing and business outcome focused projects. Working across product, data, marketing and operations, we collaborate with senior stakeholders to solve tough, ambiguous business problems.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Leading and executing trajectory changing, cross functional projects that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Engaging senior stakeholders to build the cross functional influence required to align teams and successfully deliver high impact initiatives within a business area.
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders and teams across product, marketing, operations, and engineering to problem solve jointly and deliver initiatives successfully.
  • Identifying opportunities to optimise processes, drive efficiencies, and enhance project outcomes across Monzo.
  • Driving problem solving, research and data gathering to inform business cases, go/no decisions and influencing strategy setting for a part of the business.
  • Owning analysing data, customer needs, market, competitive insights and commercial analyses to inform strategic decision making.
  • Developing and tracking project plans, KPIs, and success metrics, ensuring timely progress and measurable results.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • You have a founder mindset and take ownership of your work.
  • You have the urge and resilience to challenge the status quo and make things better.
  • You're excellent at managing and influencing stakeholders.
  • You're a persuasive communicator who can inspire stakeholders and influence decisions and project outcomes.
  • You're commercially minded and excited to collaborate with external partners and other stakeholders to get the best outcomes for our customers.
  • You thrive in ambiguity, ask incisive questions and take a structured and data led approach to problem solving.
  • Your super power is understanding and solving complex problems, whether it is going deep into data or based on regulation, legal documents, business processes, user needs, or technology.
  • You're data driven, numerate and logic oriented.

  • Experience working in a high growth company on zero to one projects and products.
  • Experience working on business transformation and strategy.
  • Experience working on international expansion projects.
