Job Description
SEN Teacher - Full-Time Sheffield

Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: Up to £200+ per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time Supply

We are partnering with a local Special Needs School in Sheffield to recruit a dedicated SEN Teacher. In this role, you will provide high-quality teaching and pastoral support to SEN pupils, ensuring continuity of learning and a safe, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons tailored to SEN and SEMH pupils

  • Establish warm, supportive relationships with students

  • Manage challenging behaviour effectively using strong behaviour management techniques

  • Communicate clearly with staff, pupils, and parents

  • Support and work alongside teaching assistants and support staff

  • Contribute to a safe, secure, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements
  • Previous teaching or lecturing experience, ideally in SEN/SEMH education

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Passion for supporting young people with additional needs

  • Self-motivated, organised, and committed to professional development
