We're looking for an ambitious Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen within a modern fresh-food concept focused on quality, consistency, and exceptional standards.
Working directly with a Michelin-trained Chef Owner, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen while helping develop systems, standards, and team performance as the business grows.
This is an ideal opportunity for a strong Sous Chef or experienced Senior Chef de Partie looking to take the next step towards Kitchen Management.
The RoleAs Sous Chef, you will:
- Support the daily running of the kitchen
- Deliver consistently high-quality fresh food
- Lead kitchen shifts and support service operations
- Maintain exceptional standards of food quality and presentation
- Manage prep, service flow, and kitchen organisation
- Support stock control, ordering, and waste management
- Ensure food safety and HACCP procedures are consistently followed
- Train and develop junior kitchen team members
- Help create a positive, professional kitchen culture
You'll be someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie
- Thrives in a fast-paced fresh-food environment
- Takes pride in consistency and attention to detail
- Leads by example and supports their team
- Remains calm and organised during busy services
- Has strong food hygiene and food safety knowledge
- Wants to develop their career within a growing business
