The Role

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to oversee our category management for sustainable sourcing, supporting our goal to become 'The most sustainable listed global fashion brand on the planet by 2030'.

This role involves working closely with the Merchandising, Brand Business Management QT, and Design teams to enhance our sustainable product range. Reporting to the Head of Sourcing, you will manage the supply base to ensure high standards of sustainability, quality, and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Sourcing professional from the apparel industry, with extensive product sourcing knowledge and strong negotiation skills. You should understand effective communication with overseas suppliers and how to deliver quality products within budget while adhering to ethical standards.

You Will
  • Support strategic objectives through effective supplier recruitment and onboarding
  • Develop a network of capable, high-quality suppliers to meet category goals
  • Negotiate cost efficiencies, analyzing benchmark costs with suppliers
  • Research supplier innovations and sustainability credentials to support product development
  • Analyze market demands and forecast needs to identify commercial opportunities
  • Visit factories to ensure compliance with ethical and technical standards
  • Manage sourcing projects within deadlines aligned with departmental strategy
  • Assess factory capacities and manage budgets
  • Deliver a balanced supply base in line with seasonal plans
You Are
  • A seasoned Sourcing Manager or Senior Manager in the fashion industry
  • Knowledgeable about products, suppliers, and factories with a strong network
  • Passionate about sustainability and making a tangible impact
  • Expert in product construction, costing, manufacturing, and calendar management
  • Up-to-date with market trends, pricing, and sustainability initiatives
  • An excellent organizer with project management skills
  • A strategic thinker capable of making sound business decisions
  • Effective communicator and influencer
  • A strong negotiator capable of pragmatic solutions
  • Committed to driving departmental strategies and willing to travel internationally
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Based near Cheltenham or willing to relocate
