Sourcing Lead

Here at Harvey Nash, our Glasgow-based client is currently recruiting for a Sourcing Lead on an initial 6-month contract. The role offers remote working with occasional travel to Glasgow.

This is a key opportunity to play a leading role in shaping and enhancing sourcing capabilities within a large and forward-thinking organisation. The successful candidate will drive strategic sourcing initiatives across a significant spend profile.

Key responsibilities include:

• Drive best-in-class sourcing through robust policies, frameworks, and a procurement centre of excellence.
• Partner with directorates to address strategic sourcing needs, informed by organisational goals and supplier insights.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing: market analysis, supplier selection, strategy, and contract negotiation.
• Ensure strategic sourcing activity procurement activities deliver value, reduce risk, and uphold integrity, innovation, and compliance.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in a senior sourcing role, operating within a large or multinational organisation.
• Demonstrated success in leading strategic, business-critical supplier relationships and contracts to drive sustainable value and performance improvements.
• Strong presence and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build credible relationships and effectively challenge senior stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to balance technical, operational, and commercial factors to deliver optimal outcomes.
