The role of the Solution Engineer Lead Logistics (LLS) is to support the department and product suite for Lead Logistics and Control Towers in Europe, building on existing and/or acquired capabilities in other regions. Focus is the international supply chain for the Retail verticals, from factory floor to Distribution Centre of the customer. The Business Lead Logistics Solution Engineer is responsible for developing comprehensive, customer-centric Lead Logistics Solutions by leveraging advanced supply chain visibility, data analytics, and process optimization. The role involves assessing current states across People, Process, and Technology, ensuring standardized and integrated solutions that drive operational efficiency, business growth and build for opportunities with a deal size > 5m USD revenue.
- This position collaborates closely with internal teams, including Sales, Implementation, Customer Operations, and IT, as well as other DP World entities globally to maintain and refine solution toolkits and artifacts. The Solution Engineer will lead analysis, manage cross-functional project teams, balance business objectives and project requirements, and engage stakeholders to deliver strategic Lead Logistics Solutions projects from initial design through successful implementation and client sign-off. Solution design includes the creation of an end-to-end global supply chain solution including key origins in Asia (where sourcing takes place) and European destinations and the execution of solution design with the Lead Logistics Solutions team.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Design and document business focused Lead Logistics Solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and internal capabilities, achieving successful rollouts/implementations aligned with Lead Logistics Budget.
- Develop detailed Solution Design Documents (SDD) and Solution Configuration Documents (SCD) for implementation teams.
- Collaborate jointly with Product Director, Lead Logistics Solutions and Commercial teams to identify opportunities, developing compelling proposals that demonstrate clear business value.
- Develop feasible, accurate and compelling solution designs, incorporating the scope of service, operating models, resource models, implementation time and costs, operating costs, business value, recommended terms/models/scenarios and P&L.
- Provides solution engineering and product expertise for customer value propositions and joins customer meetings.
- Create solution preference by evidencing our solution is the best choice (highest value / lowest risk) for our customers/prospects.
- Lead the transition of solutions from the proposal stage through implementation, ensuring accurate, feasible, and sustainable solutions.
- Actively maintain and update global solution toolkits, incorporating lessons learned and emerging best practices.
- Engage closely with internal stakeholders (Commercial, Implementation, Operations, IT) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Implements adjustments / improvements of existing products features based on sales/commercial data and market intelligence.
- Develops a pro-active customers feedback/ insight for current features improvement and needed future features.
6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
- • High learning agility.
- • Market knowledge. Good understanding of management practices and technique.
- • Purchase Order Management / Lead Logistics / 4PL / Control Towers savviness. Strong knowledge and understanding of market needs and tools.
Experience
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in supply chain logistics, business analysis, or supply chain solution design.
- working in a 3PL/4PL or LSP environment, at least for 3-5 years (in sales / customer service or product roles)
- Proven track record in implementing, Purchase Order Management / Lead Logistics / 4PL / Control Towers or related solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated ability in solution design, consulting, or business analysis within logistics, SaaS, or related fields.
- Experience in Retail vertical is a bonus.
Other Skills
- •Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering measurable business value.
- Knowledge of Purchase Order Management, Procure-to-Pay, Vendor Managed Inventory, Transportation, and related processes.
- Previous experience implementing software using a software development lifecycle (SDLC) implementation model.
- Great communication skills (oral, written, presentation) for diverse stakeholders.
- Proactively manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and commitments, and consistently demonstrate a positive "can do" attitude.
- Structured, organized, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and documentation.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and manage complex project timelines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with supply chain software and systems such as ERP, WMS, TMS, and proficient in data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI.
- Preferred experience in Infor Nexus (part of Infor ERP products).
- Flexibility to travel (up to 20%).
