Solution Architect
eCommerce (Azure)
Peterborough - Hybrid (2-3 days a week on site)
6 months FTC/c. £75,000 base + Benefits pro-rata

You'll own the end-to-end architecture of a high-impact B2B2C eCommerce platform that supports customers, shaping a modern, secure and scalable Azure-based solution.

• Define and own a cloud-native eCommerce architecture, ensuring performance, scalability and resilience.

• Lead integration of payments (BACS, Faster Payments, vouchers), third-party APIs and CRM/ERP systems.

• Embed security and compliance (GDPR, PCI DSS, government-level standards) across the platform.

• Act as senior technical authority for stakeholders, driving the technology roadmap and continuous improvement.

• Robust experience in IT architecture, ideally in eCommerce.

• Strong Azure cloud experience plus modern web tech (Blazor/.NET, React/Next.js) and API-first design (REST/GraphQL).

• Expertise in Headless Commerce/MACH or composable architecture.

Desirable:

• Energy, charity/not-for-profit or government digital services background; high-compliance environments.
