The Role
We're seeking an experienced Solutions Architect - Principal Engineer to drive the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale, high-performance systems. This is a senior technical leadership role, working across multiple products and domains to create robust, scalable, and secure solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver large-scale, cloud-native solutions with high performance, reliability, and security.
- Provide technical leadership, setting engineering direction and best practices.
- Design and implement solutions on AWS using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS/ECS, and other services.
- Collaborate with product, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to align architecture with business objectives.
- Mentor engineers, fostering technical excellence and innovation.
- Lead complex problem-solving initiatives with a strategic mindset.
Requirements
- 10+ years in software development/architecture, with 4+ years in a senior or lead architect role.
- Prior experience working with healthcare standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) in a regulated environment (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale, cloud-native systems.
- Deep expertise in AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS/ECS).
- Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.
- Solid knowledge of design patterns, SDLC best practices, and modern software architecture.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum stamp 4 Visa
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and observability in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of data governance, security architecture, and compliance.
