Solutions Architect

Our Solutions Architecture team is dedicated to designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions that meet both business needs and technical requirements. Working closely with the Technical Lead and Enterprise Architect, we ensure our solutions align with broader organisational architecture and standards, integrating seamlessly with existing systems.

What role will you play?

As a Solution Architect, you will design and architect end-to-end technology solutions tailored to specific business challenges, ensuring alignment with Macquarie's strategic goals and long-term architecture vision. You will select the best technologies, platforms, and tools to deliver effective solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. Additionally, you will provide expert guidance to developers and technical teams, solving complex technical issues and promoting innovation across the team.

What you offer

• Extensive hands-on experience in designing and delivering complex, large-scale technology solutions within the financial services industry or a similar domain.
• Demonstrated ability to select and implement technologies, platforms, and tools to solve specific business problems effectively, with strong knowledge of systems integration, solution design, and cloud-based platforms.
• Ability to communicate complex technical challenges and their solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for working with cross-functional teams and leading technical discussions to drive successful outcomes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), microservices architectures, DevOps practices, and containerization technologies. Familiarity with Aladdin, eFront, or similar asset management platforms is highly desirable.
