Job Description
About Devleaps
At Devleaps, we build platforms that make great engineering teams shine. We care about solving real problems, automating the repetitive so people can focus on creativity, and ensuring that our work has a lasting impact. As a Solution Architect here, you'll help shape solutions that enable business agility, scalability, and clean, maintainable systems.
Who you are
You are someone who:
- Think of systems, not just code - you see how things connect, where data flows, and how capabilities layer.
- Loves translating messy business problems into clean, well-structured solutions.
- Is comfortable balancing trade offs: speed vs stability, innovation vs maintainability, cost vs capability.
- Collaborates well: you speak with (senior) business stakeholders, engineers, and product owners to bridge communication.
- Has 3+ years of experience designing and implementing large, cross functional systems across cloud, integration, APIs, microservices or similar architectural domains. (supporting transformation from legacy to modern architecture)
What are we looking for
- Deep experience in architecture: you've designed solution architectures end to end, including integration points, platform and technology selection(s) and data flows.
- Strong grasp of non functional requirements: scalability, performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
- Solid familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern architectural patterns (microservices, APIs, event driven systems).
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, data pipelines, and legacy system integration.
- Clear communicator - you can articulate and convey trade offs, decisions, and rationale in both tech and business terms.
- A trusted advisor - you collaborate with clients and teams and support making smart technology and vendor choices.
️ What will you do
- Define high level solution architectures for client projects and internal platforms - with a focus on modularity, scalability, and integration.
- Collaborate with business, product, and engineering stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.
- Translate those into architectural blueprints, data flows, and integration models.
- Proactively identify architectural risks, gaps, and dependencies - and design around them.
- Support vendor and technology evaluations; help shape software selection processes.
- Provide oversight during implementation to ensure alignment with the agreed architecture.
- Contribute to internal architectural standards, tooling, and best practices.
- Mentor technical stakeholders and engineers on design thinking, architecture patterns, and quality trade offs.
To excel in this role
- 3+ years in solution or enterprise architecture, or senior engineering roles with architecture/platform responsibilities.
- End to end delivery experience in complex system landscapes.
- Hands on with cloud-native technologies, APIs, and data flows.
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills - from diagrams to decision records.
- Agile mindset: you iterate, adapt, and evolve architecture alongside teams.
- Confident facilitator: you align stakeholders and keep discussions focused.
- Experience within domains like Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Business domains is an added advantage
Why join Devleaps as a Solution Architect
- Solve meaningful problems - not just tech for tech's sake.
- Work in a culture that values autonomy, learning, feedback, and craft.
- Contribute both to client success and to evolving our own internal platforms and standards.
