Wat ga je doen

• Translate frameworks and legislation such as KARWEI and NORA into concrete guidelines for Agile teams working with Java.
• Create a clear architecture that aligns with the organization's strategic goals.
• Ensure architectural principles such as modularity, loosely coupled components, and scalability.
• Advise on the use of Java frameworks and best practices within a modern software architecture.
• Support Agile teams with practical frameworks and guidelines during technical implementations.
• Standardise APIs and interfaces to promote integration and cross team collaboration.
• Maintain a uniform and reusable architecture, including reference implementations.
• Participate in architecture meetings and collaborate with other Solution, Software and Enterprise Architects.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing by delivering training and workshops.

Wat we van je verwachten

• HBO/WO level in Computer Science, Information Management or Business Administration.
• 3-5 years of experience as a solution architect in a Java centric environment.
• Knowledge and, preferably, certification in TOGAF and ArchiMate.
• Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Understanding of IAM based on federation.
• Experience with Agile operations and agile team architecture steering.
• Organisational sensitivity and ability to connect teams.
• Knowledge of NORA, BIO, NIS2 and their impact on software development.
• Experience with event driven architecture, microservices and domain driven design (DDD).
• Deep expertise in Java and related frameworks.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud native solutions is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and sustainable architecture alignment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems pragmatically.
• Experience with data exchange, API management, API design and interface standardisation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain architectural choices clearly to developers and stakeholders.

Beloning en arbeidsvoorwaarden

• Annual contract (32-38 hr) with a fixed contract outlook and a gross monthly salary between €5,053 and €6,691 (for a 38 hour week), à la CAO UWV scale 10.
• 27 vacation days based on a 38 hour week.
• 8 % vacation pay and a fixed year end bonus of 8.33 %.

BKWI ensures that data from various government agencies is available digitally on demand. Though often behind the scenes, BKWI's efforts save millions of citizens from bureaucratic hassle.
