An Outside IR35 Contract Opportunity: Solution Architect

A high-profile public sector programme is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to help deliver critical digital services that make a real difference in people's lives.
You'll join a dynamic and expanding architecture team focused on future modelling and strategic design-supporting the delivery of multiple complex workstreams within a national digital transformation initiative.

Key Responsibilities
Lead on the design and development of solution architectures across diverse delivery teams
Align business strategy with scalable and secure technology solutions
Act as the technical lead for stakeholder engagement, ensuring solutions meet governance and design standards
Collaborate with cyber security, delivery, and external supplier teams to ensure secure, sustainable implementation
Provide technical assurance and help shape architectural strategy and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For
Proven experience in delivering integrated, digital solutions at scale in complex environments
Strong communication skills to convey architectural ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience using enterprise architecture frameworks and design governance tools
Awareness of Agile methodologies, public sector procurement, and risk management
Ability to work independently and influence others within a fast-paced, evolving environment

You must hold a valid Basic Disclosure Scotland Certificate and meet Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance prior to starting
