What you'll do:

  • Translate business requirements and user stories into detailed solution designs and technical specifications.
  • Define and document data models, data mappings and relationships across risk, controls, events, issues, appetite, scenarios and business entities.
  • Analyse and design system integrations, APIs and end-to-end data flows across multiple platforms.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Architects and Engineering teams to shape scalable and sustainable solutions.
  • Assess the impact of change on reporting, data products and downstream business processes.
  • Support workflow automation initiatives and future AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Contribute to testing, defect management and implementation readiness activities.
  • Identify technical dependencies, risks and design considerations early in the delivery life cycle.
  • Work within Agile delivery teams and actively participate in sprint ceremonies and backlog refinement sessions.
  • Provide insight-led recommendations using data analysis to support business decision making.

The skills you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
  • Experience within Risk, Controls, Operational Risk, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or Financial Services environments.
  • Strong background in solution design and requirements translation.
  • Experience with data modelling, data mapping and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of API design, system integrations and enterprise data flows.
  • Experience working across business and technology teams to deliver complex change initiatives.
  • Understanding of workflow automation and business process improvement.
  • Agile delivery experience, including user stories, sprint planning and backlog refinement.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Exposure to Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) frameworks and processes.
