The RoleWe are seeking a talented Regulatory Enforcement & Compliance Solicitor to join our growing team. Ideal candidates will have experience in regulatory or criminal enforcement work and a genuine interest in building client relationships and business opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on regulatory investigations involving agencies such as HSE, EA, Food Standards Agency, and Trading Standards
- Supporting clients after incidents or accidents, including interviews under caution and internal investigations
- Providing compliance and risk management advice
- Handling contentious matters alongside our Commercial Disputes team, offering litigation support
- Developing market presence by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities
- Collaborating across the firm to deliver integrated legal solutions
- Qualified solicitor (0-4 years PQE) with experience in regulatory or criminal enforcement
- Strong understanding of investigation, enforcement processes, and criminal procedure
- Interest or exposure to commercial disputes/litigation
- Excellent communication, analytical, and client care skills
- Interest in business development and building long-term client relationships
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a desire to build a career in regulatory law
