Software Tester (Financial Services) - Freelance

We are looking for a freelance Software Tester to support the rollout of several major projects involving ATM and card platforms for a well-established digital bank.

The bank is delivering multiple interlinked initiatives related to card systems, ATM infrastructure, and transaction platforms. These projects are central to the bank's digital offering and require testing to ensure smooth and secure functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product owners, analysts, and developers to validate requirements
• Design and run functional and regression test cases
• Test card and ATM systems, both manually and using automation tools (training provided)
• Log and track bugs and collaborate to resolve issues
• Support UAT and end-to-end validation activities
• Drive quality ownership within your project stream
• Help improve QA processes and collaboration

Requirements:

• Experience in software testing within complex environments
• Familiarity with testing tools like Tosca, SQL, or Perfecto is helpful but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a bonus

Practical Details:

• Start Date: ASAP (flexible)
• Duration: 12 months initially, with extensions expected
• Contract Type: Freelance
• Work Location: Brussels (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)
• Working Hours: Full-time
• Languages: English (required), Dutch/French (nice to have)
