Location: Remote (Occasional London travel)

Rate: Up to £500/day (Inside IR35, PAYE)

We're recruiting an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a confidential government project. This role focuses on building and optimising scalable Back End services in a modern cloud environment.

Key Skills:

• Angular, Node.js, Azure
• Terraform, Jenkins, Git
• Strong CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile delivery experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Role Overview:

• Architect and develop Back End systems
• Lead technical design and solution delivery
• Drive Agile ceremonies and collaborate across teams
• Support integration, incident management, and system reliability
• Influence long-term engineering direction

Security Requirements:

• Active SC clearance (transferable)
• Sole British nationality (no dual citizenship)
• Must meet all NSV continuity & residency criteria
