Software Developer

Onsite (potential for hybrid) - Doncaster

Job Summary

Our customer are a independent business in the Renewable sector, They are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join their team. In this role, you will redesign, develop, and maintain the companies bespoke CRM system and Website, The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, be passionate about innovation, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Software: Write, test, and deploy high-quality code for web and the CRM system
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the Sales team and Managing Director to deliver software solutions that meet business and customer requirements.
  • Participate in System Design: Contribute to system design to create scalable and reliable software solutions.
  • Implement Data Management Solutions: Develop software to process and analyse large datasets
  • Ensure Code Quality and Performance: Conduct code reviews, optimize application performance, and ensure code meets company standards.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Investigate, diagnose, and solve software bugs and technical issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend, frontend, or full-stack development.
  • Proficiency in Programming Languages: Experience with languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, or similar.
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
  • Database Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of Renewables Sector (preferred but not required)
Skills
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on writing clean, efficient, and reliable code.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new technologies and industry changes.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary and benefits package of up to £50k per annum plus benefits (DOE - salary is negotiable)
