Software Architect

Certain Advantage is hiring for a Software Architect based in the Newcastle area. This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid.

The Role

This role is for a Software Architect-someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results oriented and driven to succeed.

You'll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

Translate business goals and high level requirements into robust software architectures.
Design scalable, flexible, and maintainable architectures for complex geospatial systems using the latest modern cloud based technologies and tools.
Identify technical risks early and define pragmatic mitigation strategies.

The Individual

We're looking for people who can show:

Designing and owning software architectures for complex systems, preferably in a cloud environment, with an awareness of DevSecOps.
Exposure to working in environments with security, reliability, and compliance constraints, preferably in the geospatial domain.
