We are working with a welcoming secondary school on the Wirral that is looking to appoint a Sociology Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026.

The Role

• Teaching Sociology across the secondary age range
• Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons
• Inspiring students to develop their understanding of key sociological concepts
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
• Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to support positive outcomes for students

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Sociology within a secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Sociology
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
• A positive, professional and adaptable approach
