The Opportunity

We are working with a College in Uxbridge to recruit a passionate Lecturer in Sociology to join their high performing Sixth Form team.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach a popular and successful subject area, delivering engaging lessons across A Level Sociology to students aged . The college has a strong reputation for student outcomes and progression, with consistently high performance in A Level results.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality teaching across A Level Sociology programmes
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons that inspire learners
• Monitor student progress and provide academic support
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
• Participate in enrolment, open days, and student support activitiesMaintain accurate records of attendance and achievement

About You

• Degree in Sociology or a related subject
• Experience teaching up to Level 3 / A Level
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage learners
• Passion for education and student success
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one - fully supported by the college)
