Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children and families, developing care plans and coordinating services
• Conduct initial assessments and refer cases to appropriate services or supports
• Provide emotional and practical support to children, parents, and guardians
• Assess risk, investigate concerns, and intervene to protect children from harm or neglect
• Work with professionals like teachers, doctors, and psychologists to ensure holistic care
• Participate in prevention and health promotion activities within local communities
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and care plans in line with legal and agency standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work
• CORU Registration is mandatory
• Must be a resident in Ireland and have the legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
• Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
• International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
