We've built a brand that people love and a community that's growing fast. Now we're hiring our first Social Media Manager to take things up a level - from organic founder-led stories to a consistent, high-performing channel strategy that drives loyalty and growth.
About the RoleYou'll own the day-to-day output of Simmer's social channels and turn them into a performance engine. From TikTok to Instagram, YouTube Shorts to LinkedIn, you'll create, curate, and post content that builds buzz, starts conversation, and helps drive sales.
You'll bring a strong creative POV, exceptional taste, and a pulse on what's trending - plus a clear head for metrics. You'll work hand-in-hand with the Founder, Head of Brand and Creative Lead to bring the content calendar to life in a way that feels unmistakably Simmer.
Key Responsibilities Channel Ownership- Own and execute Simmer's organic social strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and more.
- Schedule, post, and manage daily content - written, visual, and video.
- Maintain a consistent tone of voice that reflects the Simmer brand.
- Write captions and scripts.
- Work with the creative team to brief, review, and deliver high-quality assets.
- Identify and repurpose top-performing influencer content and customer UGC.
- Transform followers into Simmer superfans through authentic engagement.
- Respond to every comment, DM, and mention with personality and purpose.
- Collaborate with our Influencer Manager to spotlight creators and talent.
- Build genuine relationships with our most vocal advocates.
- Track engagement, reach, saves, and shares across all platforms.
- Take full ownership of the performance data - using it to double down on what works and kill what doesn't.
- Test new formats, trends, and platforms at the speed of culture.
- Deliver monthly social reports and insights for the team.
- Stay plugged into culture, creators, and platform updates.
- Spot opportunities for Simmer to join conversations in authentic ways.
- Pitch and test new formats fast - from memes to lo-fi TikToks to new channels.
- 2+ years managing social media at a fast-growing brand or agency.
- Chronically online and dialled into social/culture.
- Experience building and executing a full content calendar.
- Deep platform knowledge - especially TikTok and Instagram.
- Exceptional copywriting skills to carve out a distinctive tone of voice.
- Strong aesthetic sense - you know good content when you see it.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth business - independent and reliable.
- Confident using analytics tools to report on performance and optimise.
