About Us:

We are BARBRI, a global legal education specialist that has supported more than a million people worldwide in preparing for the U.S. bar exam and the Solicitors Qualifying Exam and developing legal and professional skills to succeed in the legal world. We are a friendly, dynamic, and forward-thinking bunch on a mission to make the legal profession more diverse and representative of the people it serves!

We thrive on creativity, innovation, collaboration and delivering high-quality, impactful content that finds and resonates with our various audiences, wherever they may be.

About You:

You're a talented social media marketer, a natural storyteller, brimming with creative ideas and with a flair for writing engaging copy. You're organised, adaptable, friendly and know how to build relationships that matter - with people from all backgrounds and levels of seniority, from students to law firm clients, from teammates to leadership. You're equally comfortable working independently as you are bouncing ideas off our supportive team. You have a sharp eye for detail, great design skills, top-notch organisational skills, and an excellent grasp of the English language with the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences. Above all, you're passionate about social media, staying ahead of trends and creating content that inspires and answers our audience's burning questions.

If you thrive on making an impact, you'll fit right in.

About the Role:

You'll be the bridge between our brand and our social community, ensuring every interaction reflects our voice and values. You'll take the lead in shaping our social media presence across platforms, with a focus on LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. You'll manage our social content strategies for B2C (students) and B2B (employers), manage our DMs, and nurture our online communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute platform-specific social media strategies for LinkedIn, TikTok, Meta and YouTube (and other channels as needed) to increase followers and drive engagement with our target audiences.
  • Own the social media calendar with clearly tagged content by audience, platform and campaign.
  • Craft compelling, accurate, interactive content using a variety of formats, from static and animated images to carousels and short-form videos (reels/shorts/stories).
  • Schedule regular live sessions.
  • Optimise and schedule posts for peak performance.
  • Adhere to the brand guidelines and style guide, using impeccable grammar and appropriate tone of voice for each audience.
  • Collaborate with influencers, ambassadors, and students to developuser-generated content (UGC).
  • Provide best practice tips and guidance to other members of the wider team.
  • Monitor performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to refine strategies and improve results.
  • Engage with our community, respond to comments and messages, escalate queries and build meaningful relationships with followers and in the industry.
  • Stay up to date with trends, updates and best practices to keep our content fresh and innovative.
  • Work independently but with guidance and support from a friendly and collaborative team.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to align our social media campaigns with our broader business goals.
  • Join the team on out-of-town conferences/away days where needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2+years of experience managing social media accounts for an organisation.
  • Proven experience with LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, and a strong portfolio showcasing short-form video, post design and copywriting work.
  • Experience with design tools (eg Canva), and video-editing tools (eg CapCut).
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools (eg Agorapulse or Hootsuite).
  • An analytical mindset with a solid understanding of social media KPIs and performance tracking.
  • Excellent communication skills, confidence, and a friendly, collaborative attitude.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience creating content for both a B2B and B2C audience.
  • Experience with marketing platforms (like HubSpot or Marketo).
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, although not necessary!

What We Offer:

  • A supportive, friendly team culture that values your ideas and creativity.
  • Hybrid working, with Tuesdays and Thursdays in the central London office.
  • Various health and lifestyle benefits.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
  • The chance to work on exciting projects and expand your digital marketing expertise.
