Job Description
London

Dearborn is seeking a Social Media & Content Editor to manage the day-to-day content and community engagement across all social channels for four properties. You'll craft and commission visually rich and engaging content, manage content calendars, grow our social following, and support campaign activations that drive brand awareness, web traffic, and enquiries.

Reporting to the Brand & Content Manager, this role is perfect for someone imaginative and analytical, who will relish the creative freedom to evolve and shape a fast-growing brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong aesthetic sense for luxury brands, and a love of hospitality and storytelling.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all four sites' social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn, with a view to establishing new content channels, for example YouTube. Includes scheduling and planning content 3-4 weeks in advance using Later, and daily monitoring of accounts, ie responding to comments and messages to maintain high engagement.
  • Plan, create and commission original lo-fi and hi-fi photo and video content to elevate our brand storytelling - including behind-the-scenes house snapshots with onsite teams, event showcases, reels, stories and regular content franchises or formats that foster audience familiarity, anticipation, and interest. Edit and adapt visuals for each channel, ensuring consistency in tone and aesthetics.
  • Actively seek new ways to reflect the life and energy of our spaces. Build connections with brands, personalities and industry contacts for collaborations or UGC content that will enrichen our channels and show the versatility of our spaces to drive client acquisition.
  • Attend in-house events alongside the Brand Director and Brand & Content Manager to capture content - the ability to capture strong video using both cameras and smartphones is a requirement.
  • Track and report on key metrics, ie engagement, follower growth and conversions. Monitor trends and platform updates to keep strategies fresh and relevant, using insights to inform future campaigns.
  • Adhoc support with other relevant content requirements that align with brand development and our other content streams, ie Journal posts and newsletters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years' experience working in a social or content role, preferably premium brands, fashion or hospitality
  • Strong engagement with social media trends and digital marketing tools and platforms, and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual content
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to tone of voice and grammar
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools and editing apps, ie Later, Studio, InShot, Lightroom
  • Creative and commercial thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Passionate about brand values, design and hospitality
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work independently

Locations / Hours:

  • The position will be based in London, with the expectation of paid travel to our properties in Surrey, Wiltshire, the Cotswolds and Sussex when required (two-three times per month). Our office is based in Belgravia, and there will also be flexibility to work from home.
