The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, client-focused Data Analyst with a strong analytical background and excellent client-facing communication skills. You will work closely with major film studios to deliver comprehensive data insights that inform strategic decisions. While social media data will be a key focus, the ideal candidate will have the ability to integrate and analyze data from multiple sources for a holistic view of performance. This role suits someone passionate about analytics, thriving in a client-centric environment, with a strong network in the entertainment industry.
The Role
- Client Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor, consulting regularly to understand clients' objectives, address queries, and deliver insights aligned with their goals.
- Data Integration and Analysis: Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources, focusing on social media, and incorporating other relevant datasets for comprehensive performance insights.
- Strategic Reporting: Develop and deliver advanced performance measurement frameworks, custom reports, and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Client Network Utilization: Leverage and expand your network within the entertainment industry to strengthen partnerships and grow the business.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to prioritize tasks, streamline report delivery, and adapt to industry demands.
Requirements
- 5+ years in social media data analytics, preferably with an agency background and a focus on entertainment.
- Proven experience in presenting, pitching, and building client relationships within the film or entertainment sectors.
- Advanced knowledge of social media listening tools (e.g., Quid, Brandwatch, Meltwater) and API data integration.
- Expertise in KPI development for organic social media campaigns.
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization, with experience in PowerPoint.
- Strong interpretation skills to create actionable insights aligned with client strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Interest in movies and the film industry is highly desirable.
