Job Description

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Social Care Leader for services based in Longford and Athlone on behalf of Ireland's leading social care children's residential services.

These are full time permanent post working a 39 hour per week contract - all applicants must be available to work across all shift patterns.

Social Care Leader salary

€56,915 €58,145 €59,374 €62,652 €63,924 €65,185 €66,465

Premium rates also available on top of the above scale for unsociable hours.

Requirements

Applicants must by the closing date of application have the following:

  • Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU.
  • Or hold a CORU approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence of application will be necessary).
  • And BA (Honours) in Social Care/Applied Social Studies/Applied Social Care.
  • Or be eligible for registration in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU (evidence of application will be necessary).
  • And the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of office.
  • And have a minimum of three years' experience of working in a Children & Families Service or other relevant environment with a similarly challenging client group.
  • Candidates must be fully flexible to work across all rosters.
  • And hold a full clean Irish manual drivers license.
  • And be eligible to live and work in Ireland - no sponsorship given.
