The RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Small Animal Vet with at least 1 years relevant working experience to join our dynamic team. The role will be based at our modern, spacious and fully equipped surgery in Scone, which opened in 2020. Scone sits on the outskirts of Perth with easy access to the beautiful Perthshire countryside, whilst also being just an hours reach from Edinburgh and Glasgow. The caseload available will be a genuine mix of consulting, medical work-ups, operating and emergency care and we strive to make sure all vets get the balance of work that suits them. Pursuit of special interests within small animal medicine is encouraged and actively supported.

Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality veterinary care to your patients.
- A fair balance of consulting, operating and working up cases to a high standard.
- Build strong relationships with clients.
- Work closely with the rest of the veterinary team, including nurses and support staff.
- Work a standard working week of four days a week 8.30am-5pm, with one late finish at 6.30pm with one in three Saturday mornings 9am-12.30pm. We can however be flexible to accommodate a reduced working week.
- A willingness to work out-of-hours (with time off in lieu) would be beneficial but not essential.
- Qualified and RCVS-registered veterinarian with a passion for small animal medicine.
- At least 1 years relevant working experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A strong desire to provide the best possible care and build lasting relationships with clients.
- A sense of humour, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Competitive salary (commensurate with experience).

- 33 days holidays
- 5 days and £1500 towards CPD. Further training such as for appropriate certificates will be supported also.
